What are we offering?  Scholarships to college-bound high school seniors based on demonstrated academic achievement, financial need, and an expressed interest in pursuing a degree in Fine Arts in post-secondary institutions.   

What are the eligibility requirements?  Students eligible for a scholarship must be a graduating high school senior who resides in the following school districts:  Montgomery County, Prince George’s County, and the District of Columbia.  They must intend to continue their education in a post-secondary institution in Fine Arts and maintain a 3.0 grade point average (or equivalent) in high school.   

When will scholarships be awardedScholarships will be awarded on an annual basis and disbursed in equal payments in August and January.  The total scholarship award for each recipient is $1,000.  

How to apply: Students must complete the application and

 include the following:

RESUME

On a separate sheet of paper list experience(s) you have in areas of your interests. Include classes taken, special training and performances and/or competition. 

NARRATIVE

Please explain in 500 words or less your long term goals, and how the AIM SCHOLARSHIP will help you achieve your goals.

Transcript Include a copy of your transcript with your application
